I had applied for passport and i got the police verification within 15days from applying. and for my passport verification, i didnt pay anything to the person. after 2 months, when i applied for passport for both my mother and sister, the same policemen didnt turned up after 45days from applying. i went to police station and talked to that person and he came home for verification and then i came to know the reason for not coming, as i didnt pay him anything. i had to pay 200rs to him to complete the process...
