I have paid 1200 INR for verification of my passport at Barsathi Police Station, Jaunpur.
This is the rule to pay 1000 - 1500 INR as bribe in the police station otherwise they will misbehave you or give you warning to give the negative report.
UP Police behaves like robber now a days.
