Paid bribe to transfer EB Connection name from preivous owner to my name (new owner)

I was in EB office 5 times before to get this work done but failed everytime to ********** the AE. Finally on 24th 11, 2008, I had that day paid leave and went there to finish this work. When I walked in I couldn't see any officer except guys in payment section. I asked them to help me with name transfer. They asked me to wait till afternoon to see the officer as he may in field work. I was waiting outside the office for a long time. At 1PM there was a guy who looked like a clerk came in and sat on a desk and was on a phone. I tried to enquire about the transfer with that person. After his phone call. He said two options. 1) You will have to pay Rs.1000 and wait for 6 months 2) Pay Rs.2500 and get it instantaly. Unfortunately I had to go for the second option to avoid my loss of pay and I was working in bangalore and couldn't find enough time to go often to coimbatore. AND thid process was blocking my house name transfer as well. Hence i ended up paying such amount and got the transfer letter in 5 mins.
