Paid for changing the land from previous owner to my name

We bought a piece of land which was not transferred to our name. we later requested corporation officials to change it. we ended up paying 3000... worst we have to run to then more than 10 times for a period of 6 months, inspite of my father being sick. they made him to travel 3 hours everytime there.
