I had to get a house regd on my name and the ********** of 31 mar was nearing fast after which the regn rates were to go up. So lot of chaos as mela was org by Govt of UP to sort out regn issues especially due to 31 Mar coming near.
A despatcher accompanied us from Avas Evam ********** PArishad to ********** nagar Lko LDAs office . He had good rapport with all the babus wrorking there as was evident form his interactions.....
I asked the fees required he told me some 15,000 rs I asked what was the auth govt rate he said 10,000 Rs .... I asked him i will pay that much only he said the work wont be done as that is the procedure,,,, i got it reduced to 1500 citing my service in army.... and i had to oblige though unwwillingly as my leave was getting over and i dont know when i would have got my next leave ,,,,, but i still regret having givewn that ,...
Many a times i get into tussle but come out of it .... but remember one thing raise yr voice it puts them on defensive and someday things will improve ....lets be tolerant and patient in doing our work ..... and not succumb to paying bribes as rich can pay but what abut poor people uneducated and illpaid and from that he has to pay bribes.... Bribr is HARAM ....
