So it was to acquire marriage certificate post our wedding, my father was in process of submitting required papers. The officer asked for bribe - 'Whatever you wish to pay' on submitting the registration fees. Dad didn't understand his language and hence asked us to talk to the officer when we appear for final proceedings and we had to pay bribe to get the work done. Location was near CTM area, Ahmedabad. It was in 4th week of December, 2011. Timing was around 12noon.
