For Passing The Signal at night while the yellow light was still displaying

It was during Pilgriomage to Guruvayoor Temple with my family. We were coming from Alappuzha and we have to cross the Vytilla Signal at Cochin. Time was around 9.00pm and i drive my car while the traffic Signal was still Yellow. Still am Sure that i didnt pass on Red Light.
Traffic policeman who was on duty informed to his fellow duty man who was at duty at Edappaly Signal which is very near to Vytilla Signal.
That officer stopped my car and he took me out of car to his jeep. He start abusing me and told me that i croosed the signal. He was not willing to hear my words atleast. He start threatening me that Traffic SI was on his way and he will took us to station. Other wise i have to pay Rs 500/-.
Me and my family were in such a pleasent mood and we never want to ruin it. Also my mother and sister were accompanying me and i never want to take them to police station or let them wait at road until i finish the things. May be all the Keralities knows about the things happening to ladies and girls in such big city and even at police station they are not getting proper respect.
In this crisis, i was forced to pay that oficer an amount of Rs 500/-.
