Passport application appointment date change Paid Rs. 1000

When I was applying my son’s passport I couldn’t able to change the appointment through the Passport office website so I have asked one of the passport agent for the date change. He told me you have to pay Rs. 1000 then I will ask the passport office to change your application date to your desire date.
I had paid 1000 and the date had changed through their internal system.
