Passport - Police Verification Report

I had applied for passport for my 8 month old daughter. One month after application I got a call from police station for police verification of my daughter. After two prolonged visits the report was ready. While completing the final formality of report completion the clerk asked for Rs 200/- for fast processing of the application. However after long discussion I had to pay Rs 100/-.
