I was relocating to Guwahati from New Delhi. And I had my motor-bike along with other house-hold items along. While I was getting out of the railway station, these so called cops got hold of me at around 10pm. After checking everything for security measures (which I actually appreciated initially), they started verifying my bike's details. Even when they found all the papers genuine and valid, they started demanding for money in lieu of allowing a Delhi numbered bike to enter Assam.
Now tell where in any law of our country we Indians have to pay fines for carrying legal belongings?
I was alone and at a lonely night time, I had to pay them because I was threatened to be taken to police station otherwise.
