I had to pay a bribe of INR 5000 to the officer at CID office Mumbai to receive PCC for my wife, which i needed for some official purpose. We had filled up the complete form, submitted to the local Police station at Andheri....got the approval from the local police station....submitted the Approval from the local police station to the CID office in Mumbai.
As per the process we did every single step to get the PCC, but the officer at CID office won't give the same unless we pay him 5000 INR. In the end due to the time constraint we had to make our hands dirty.
