Where do i start from .. i mean every section of Government i walk into is soo full of corruption , not even a single one is left out who touches your file... from collector office to tehsil .. to talati karyalaya to PWD.
but what i found above all is "THE HONOURABLE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION"
as i come from Construction fraternity, i go through above mentioned all places ,this si one of incidence i went on taking a building permission.
after the drawings were ready by Architect the file was submitted in RESPECTABLE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION (RMC),the auto dcr check was done , then file was taken to inward department file is inwarded and forwarded to concerned JE (Junior engineer), now game begins ....
a site visit is fixed for next morning , as all the paperwork was perfect and even land status was great there was no place for any conflicts , so he(JE) directly asked for a bribe, that was 20 thousand for each each unit permission required, i laughed and after two days it was negotiated to 5 thousand per unit, this bribe was for JUNIOR ENGINEER , DEPUTY ENGINEER , AND ADTP . From town planning department.. WHICH I PAID IN ADVANCE.. JE ok's file and its ready for first challan , the clerk who writes it demands 300 rupees (INR) for reciept.
after challan is paid in bank , honourable JE gives us next challan , again same clerk same amount,
once this challan process is done the drawings require municipal stamps , now come most efficient and least paid "PEON" . he demands 500 rupees ,that i immediately pay...
all drawingsa re stamped and concerned authorities sign them on efforts from peon..
now building permission same clerk ...now asks for 500 rupees for each permission failing to which you are made to do 20 to rounds for MUNICIPAL CORPORATION.. i paid him and got my building permission .. entire process takes 2 to 3 weeeks .. and lots of visits and very arrogant and non co-operative staff, who even demand bribe if you breathe in premises ..
