Pet a bribe for pet export
I had to pay a 3,000 rupee bride to obtain a certificate of health for the export of my dog to the U.S. The bribe was paid to the quarantine officer in charge (of which there is only one in Bangalore) with the Animal Quarantine Certification Services. There is NO SCHEDULED FEE for this service, but this officer extracts fees at random from pet owners importing and exporting their cats and dogs.
