Police ********** asks bribe of Rs.200 for passport verification

Usually the police comes to our house for police verification when applying for the passport. But for my parents when I applied, I got a call from the police station asking for my parents and come to the police station. Since I was working in a different city, I asked my parents to go to the police station on the time they told with PAN card(ID proof), and Telephone Bill(Address proof) and passport size photos suggested by the police. In the same way, lot of people came there it seems for passport police verification. They pasted the photo in some document and got their signature. After that they asked for the bribe of Rs.200 per passport. My parents Paid totally Rs.400 for both and came back.
