I need to visit Adi-********** in Utrakhand in June'10. Since this lies close to Into-Tibet border and comes under notified area, we need to have permission from SDM of that area. To get the permission we need two things, one was medical fitness certificate and second was Police Clearance certificate from The Police station where you live. I am living in Noida for last 6 years. I went to sector-20 Police station with an application stating my request and purpose. Firstly they refused that they will not issue. Then i asked why, they said that they can't issue. I asked why you can't, You need to check your record and give me in writing that there is no case registered with you and this is for getting permission to visit notified area. Then they said that ' Kharcha hoga'. I asked why. They said they won't do it go and get it from your permanent place. After negotiations they agreed to give me the certificate as i have everything planned and can't cancel that.
