We were driving from Gwalior to Gurgaon and were stopped for Pollution Check. We did not have Pollution Check and were told that we would have to pay a fine. We were ready to pay the fine but they were not ready to officially accept the fine, they wanted a pay-off. After insisting that we wanted to pay the fine we were told that they would confiscate our license and title information and will have to appear on court to get them back. Since we were not from the ********** they were creating a scenario where we ended up bribing them 1000 rupees to get off the hook.
