Poor coconut vendor pays police jeep patrol

While the coconut vendor toils dawn to dusk with his best business being during the hottest part of the day, a Bangalore polic jeep drove by and collected a Rs.30 bribe (apparently a Friday routine) from him and his neighboring coconut, food and other street vendors. Jeep: Hoysala 28; Vehicle number: KA 2 G 814: Rajarajeswari Nagar; Gray-haired cop at wheels and another one managing collections. Shame on you, Police! You are supposed to protect the struggling working class!!
