Postmen are not delivering govt documents like UID , Driving licenses
- Post Office
- Delivery of Letters and other Post
- Paid INR 30
I was checking my UID (aadhar)'s status online.
Suddenly one day on 27 nov ....it says delivered on 20 nov , and for my wife it said delivered somewhere in June 2012.
But we never received both of ours Aadhar.
I went to post office @ Dharma college near dairy circle,
so offficials over there said , we get so many cards, we just mark the status as delivered.
you just leave you name and phone no, we will find it and call you.
next day i got a call from postman, he said come and collect it. i said you come and give it ,
he said if you want come and take it.
I went to post office next day. he took me to parking delivered and then asked for chaay paani...
i gave 30 Rs, he kept ...
1) bribe should be made legal. their salaries are off course less.
2) its too much of work for post office dept to delier UIDs.... UID dept ..should outsource it to some third party.
