Quick fix!
As part of the process for applying to renew the passport, I have been asked for a ration card as address proof. But, the ration card has my old address and so my father approached the ration office for change of address. They said it would take time for the same. So, when my father stepped out of the office, he was approached by an agent who said, if we paid INR 500, she would get it done in a couple of days. Since I urgently needed the passport, my father paid the money and the job was really done in 2 days. I stand guilty now, since I had to give in for the sake of renewing my passport. Is there a way out?
