I was waiting in a queue to board the general compartment of nilagiri express; i am 67 years old, the time was 7:30 pm. I could not control my bladder and went to the edge of platform to relieve myself; unfortunately the railway poice stattion is situated right below that place' what I did was wrong and the s.i caught me; I pleaded with him in vain; he made me pay rs. 150.00 at the station; two other people were let go by him as they were po;ice in mufti. he never gave a receipt for the amount, but the lady writer mde me fill two forms and took my thumb impression in one of them. I wonder if the entire amount would go into the governement coffers; lack of rest room in that area traps many people.
