Rupees 20 per day from Pani puri vendors and chaiwalas on cycles

It is quite disgusting to see the beat police take Rs 20 everyday form the road side Pani puri vendors and chaiwalas on cycles at night. They have to pay them to just run their petty business by the road side. I have talked to one such vendor he said, his daily earnings by selling tea around EGL (Embassy Golf Links Business Park, Inner ring road) peddling around 20 kms at night is around 150. He has to pay sometimes Rs80 if he come across 4 beat police a night !!. What he left with ?

I feel so pity on that ***holes for looting the poorest in poor. A shame for a 'elite' city like Bangalore!!!
