I was asked to pay Rs. 15,000 as a bribe to register my property. All paperwork was in place, but the converned people said they have a long waiting list and it may take a few days - i woukd have to come every day and see if my documents woukd be accepted that day. After agreeing to pay - i was taken past all others waiting and my file was processed. When it came time to pay - i was asked for an additional 500 to pay the woman who types up the record. This is at Domlur Registrar's office.
