Today (7 Apr 2011), I was going to office @ 10.30 AM. I was at Swargate chawk coming from Tilak road. I wanted to go towards Hadapasar (Shankarsheth Road). But I had Red signal and hence was waiting for it to turn Green. But it was taking **********of lot of time...there were no peestrians crossing the roads and still the signal was Red...
I was getting late to office and finally I got fed up of waiting and I started my bike and broke the signal. Police (1 traffic cop and 1 PSI officer) as usual were standing few meters ahead of signal. They stopped me. I tried to explain them the situation, but in vein.
So I was ready to pay the price in legel way, but they asked me to pay Rs. 800/-...(Eight Hundred Rs).
How charges for signal breaking be 800/-... And they were not responding to any of my qtns..then i realised that they need bribe...and I pais 100 Rs as bribe and went to office...
I know I've done a wrong thing, but i could not afford 800/- for signal violation...
