Mine was a standard bribe.
Had to pay exactly 100% of per year assessed amount as bribe. That is the going rate here in Hyderabad.
He was good enough not to round it. 1920+ was the tax assessment. He took 3800/- from each of the 40 flats of my apartment.
If we refused to pay the bribe, there was the usual hidden threat:
1. Cannot say when you tax assessment ********** come.
2. The tax structure for this area is high. They reduce the per.sq.ft tax based on the bribe.
