Stopped for film on car at Rabale, outside Thane, 11:45 29/4/13. Its very light film, can see through both windows ver clearly, but the thoughtless legislation makes us a target. Cop asks, are you marathi? Asks for documents, rc bk, ins, puc. I don't have PUC, driving a Polo GJ reg. I learn that after 2 years, Polo requires PUC. So I ask what is to be done. Reply, RC book and license have to be confiscated and got from court. I am travelling from Gujarat to Pune alone. I ask what is the option, reply, pay fine, I say ok. I give 1000 as asked, the cop says Namaskar bhabhi and goes off! Mr. Govt didnt make any money, Mr. Chor Cop made some, and I hate the legislation that turns honest people dishonest and creates avenues for corruption.
