When I got the job, I had to apply passport to get ready for any onsite assignment. As I was having very limitted time in hand, so opt for Tatkal facility. To apply tatkal, that time passport authority asked a no objection cirficatin(Annexture F) from higher authority(Collector, Sub collector, any director level). Where ever I went to any higher authority office, my request didn't go beyond peon or clerk level. It includes all administative office including police department. I was in hurry, so am in a state to pay any amount to make that happen but thanx to my Dad he keep on trying for 2 month without paying a single rs. My Dad is the only Honest person I saw till date. Thats why, I think he got his pension money after 6 year of retirement. Anyway after 2 month out of frustartion, I went to passport office(Without informing my Dad), and I gave a person 5500 rs in the office(Includes official fee i.e. around 2500 rs)and he could able to do my job in a single day. This is the day, I can't forget....and for which I won't forgive myself...bcoz I insulted my Dad's principle and his 2 month's honest effort. From that day I keep on approaching govt ppl for my required job without paying a single rs. So my request to Indian public.... do not panic...follow proper proceedure but never bribe a person. We only made them currupt and we only can make them curruption free. ********** **********
