I paid a sum of Rs 1500 to the comptroller of Defence Account at local office of Area Account office Visakhpatnam in the store section to get my bills cleared as was hanging due to absurd reasons. It's a general practice that the bills forwarded by any navy unit is stayed till the contractor or supplier doesn't pay something to the clerical staff. They return the bills to the bill generating unit witb absurd reasons to get the bills delayed and to annoy the supplier. Most of the people remain silent bcoz reporting an incident may cause problem to them in future for carrying out normal and clean business.
