Traffic constable harreshment

Was on the way back from Nariman Point to Pune, due to confusion regarding which road to take changed lane & was caught by a traffic constable. He immediately asked me for the license which I handed over & asked me to collect it the next day from Worli Police station. When questioned that he may challan me for the mistake, he replied back that he din't have the challan book. As I am a resident of Pune & comming back the next day again to Mumbai to collect my license, I had to pay Rs.100.00 as bribe.
