Traffic Cop Begs on the road

I am from chennai and was on my way back to home. A Traffic COP stopped me on the signal near thorapakkam - OMR Road, chennai for no fault of mine. I asked him the reason and all he said was give me Rs.100 and go!! Obviously he did not have a reason.
I got so annoyed and even told him that he is begging and can find a better job than doing this. He was so thick skinned, he never bothered and kept insisting that i pay him Rs 50. I was arguing wt him for abt 20 mins and when i saw no point (as i had another urgent appointment), i had to give him the money and leave.
The traffic cops do not seem to have any self respect and all they need is MONEY.
