I had a confirmed berth from Jammu to Delhi in AC 2 tier. On the day of travel, we decided to board from Uddhampur (20 mins North of Jammu) in the same coach. The TTE asked for 400 rupees for 2 of us.
We didn't bother and paid the bribe. This incident is one of the many train incidents where I paid bribe to secure a berth. It's shame that someone sells his conscious for as low as rupees 50.
TTE should have some self esteem and if really they want to sell themselves. they should sell for something which is decent amount.
