I have visited a hospital in bangalore. I see the worst billing method. for a small wound to my fingure, they charged 5000. When I asked to split the bill like --- for dressing material, doctor consultation..etc. they have added 2000 extra which have no reason. While I was arguing the in charge of this consultation came and started shouted at me. She also told that they have collected 2000 that goes for the doctor and why is it apart from consultation is that is the income tax the the doctor must bear. So the patient must bear the income and its tax also. I hate government for nor regularizing the billing system of private hospitals.
