I have completed my B-tech in Chennai. when i applied for my passport my well wishers suggested me to applying for Tatkal passport is better than normal passport . So, i need a verification letter from near by police station. when i went to police station Constable asked me to pay 2000/- for SI sign & told that it was fixed rate for SI sign . how shame it was to hear it was fixed rate. That day i thought they r not POLICE man to TC of people . they r just like ( no word's ) i cant scold them with my mouth
at last i payed that amount :(
SI was signed on verification certificate . but wen Constable returning back to me again they demanded 500/- to pay else they will reject my certificate
at last i paid 2000/- for SI & 500/- for constable
after 1 months Checking officer came to my house from passport office and asked details abt me to verify the information received in HYD passport office. he also demanded 500/- ( else he told me that he will send a remark on me ) that y i scared and paid.
at last on fine morning post man came to my home to deliver my passport and he also demanded 50/- again i gave that amount and received my passport ( at that time i thought that we got freedom from British government but not from our government.
For my passport I paid
SI- 2000/-
Constable- 500/-
Checking Officer - 500/-
Post man - 50/-
i must feel shy that i paid money to them and encouraged then to continue :(
but no other way to get my passport.
if any one did mistake we go to police station and give complain
if police man doing mistakes to whom should we complaint ??
