Hi,

I really did not understand the concept of police verification for passport, coz they call to the station and take all the details. I think the police people should come to our door and take all the details, anyhow I had been asked to go to the station for police verification for my passport and the reminder call was given at 10:30 PM in the night to a lady, which is unacceptable and when I had been to the station they took photocopies of my address proof, photo ID and 2 Photos, which the passport office people could have done this. The constable directly asked for Rs. 200 and he did not accept not less than that. Hope this message will reach to the higher authorities and change the verification *******
