We hired a beach house ECR Chennai to work on our next product release for 5 days. 2 police man land up on the 1st day evening and ask for 2000 rupees failing which we have leave the place immediately. the formal procedure explained by the policeman appeared draconian . may be that is a scar tactics to get the money. we already paid 25k for the guest house and there is very little choice. we paid the 2000. there seems to be nexus between the house owner, the care taker and police. they are well connected.
