I had to goto passport office in ahmedabad. No parking was available around that office, so I parked my scooter where everybody else did. Didnt know it was no parking zone, as i didnt see sign for it. I come out and scooter was gone then i had to ask ppl around to where to pick it up from, as no information provided at that point. Dont remember where was it, but it was on road and policeman was standing with all towed vehicles. He asked me to pay 50 rs, and pay 500 rs if i want receipt. Obviously i choose to pay 50rs to solve the matter quickly. This happened in around march-apr 2003..dont remember the exact date.
