Wakad Police Chowky hassling innocent citizens for providing positive Police Verification Report

I had been to Wakad Police Chowky in May 2016 for Police Verification of my passport.
In general the personnel manning the Police verification process had only one agenda to give maximum hassles to the citizens visiting the Wakad police station and calling them multiple times at the pretext of some additional document or other to complete the police verification.
After at least 4 visits i at last gave in and greased the palms of the officer concerned in order to get the PVC done despite having all docs in place as i had a urgency to travel.
This was not a one -off incident the majority of the people who visited the chowky that day faced this hassle and had to come multiple times. Also there was no physical address verification conducted for any of the citizens who visit the chowky ...so i dont know what kind of verification is being conducted by asking the same docs already submitted to the passport office and then asking for additional docs as per their whims and fancies with no physical address verification.
The concerned SHO , The Chief Vigilance Commissioner and the Pune Police Commissioners office should take note of this practice and take necessary corrective action.
