When people from Service Tax Department come for an audit, they expect to get paid a bribe for the privilege of coming to the audit. They claim that everyone in Service Tax Department upto the commissioner level have set quotas for bribes to be recovered from companies to fill their pockets. If you don't pay the bribe demanded, they will raise frivolous penalties 4 times the bribe amount. This is the rule within their department. They are gangsters like Dawood Ibrahim. All this bribe money will be useless to them and their families! Their children will spend all this money on drugs and alcohol and die in accidents in expensive cars!!
