What a Con Dept - Deputy Commissionerr for Detection of Undervaluation of Stamps - ********** Nagar - Bangalore
I got a notification from Deputy Commissionerr for Detection of Undervaluation of Stamps stating that my property is undervalued. I had paid stamp duty as per govt notified rates. When I went there I was asked to pay Rs 3 lakhs. When I stated that I had paid as per govt rates. The Engineer threatened me with dire consequnces .The Engineer ( If I remember the name it was Chellana or Chellapa) demamded me to pay Rs 5000 as penatly and pay him 15000/- and I did it out of sheerly out of my helpless sitautaion to get back my property. What a cool way to make money out of hapless people in the name of the Govt wher the individual makes more money than the Govty itself
