WHere Is the "u" turn?

I have a Jharkhand passing car which i m driving in Ahmedabad. I had taken a "U" turn at Helmet Cross Roads where I couldnt spot the no U turn sign. To be hones the next u turn on that road comes after 1km. I paid the bribe to get my lazy ass away from a small fine of Rs. 300.
I asked for fine and the Havaldar said "Bhai pachaas apo ane nikdo khali khotu traffic na ubhu rakho".
He didnt even bother to ask for my DL.
I haven't commuted on that road since. But I'm still vary if th no u turn sign is there or not.
