I was taking a vehicle to sutlej motors in punjab. the chassis was registered in kerala. i didn't have any problem while passing via other states except in punjab.
It was in punjab's border. the excise duty officer incharge during that night asked me for Rs.500/- for a pass that only charged Rs.15/- as it was night i was not able to read the amount printed i it. i showed them all the legal documents but still they asked me to pay them five hundred rupees...
i also didn't know punjabi well so i gave the money they asked for.
when i came back home only then i realised that I PAID A BRIBE.
i don't know who is reading this but whoever it is i kindly request you to take neccesary actions.
