The landscape of Indian businesses is fast changing with a lot of Public-Private Partnerships and trans-national businesses dominating the economic sphere. Various industry sectors like telecommunications, insurance and education are being brought under the PPP model. Should the audit of all public expenditure including projects in public private partnership be brought under the purview of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India?
