The showdown of the middle class

The recent anti-corruption crusade has been termed as the revolution of the middle class. While we watch the tax-paying middle class openly question the government and hold our elected representatives accountable, we cannot help wonder if the apolitical, indifferent middle class has finally arrived at the scene?
