The slap on our agriculture minister’s face was not just an outburst. The angst was driven by deeper and more serious concerns. For a country reeling under unprecedented price rise, corruption and economic policies that benefit only 1 percent of the population, is ‘the slap’ symbolic of citizens’ simmering anger and increasing frustration?
