In the debate around corruption, it is not uncommon to hear people talk about integrity. Statements such as ‘a person of integrity/ a nation of integrity’ often surface during discussions around graft. But what does this term mean? Can a person be non-corrupt yet associated with a dubious integrity? Can principles of good governance prevail in independence of integrity?
