Process Flow: · Submit application along with prescribed documents. · These shall be received in the Reception Counter by the Reception-incharge. They are to be handed over to the concerned case worker · Documents are scrutinised by the concerned case worker · Submission of note in the file to the Registration Authority · These documents are then sent to the sub-ordinate officer / inspector for verification OR inspection by ALC OR calling of Statutory records · Inspection is performed by the sub-ordinate officer / inspector and report submission · Hearing the parties, if needed and passing of an Order · Granting / rejecting the Certificate / Licence (5 days are required to fulfil the above mentioned process) Documents required: At the time of Registration, you’re required to submit- · Covering Letter (Preferably on proposed Union Letter Head) · Proof of Fee Paid (Original Challan copy) · Duly filled in Form-A and Annexures · Bye-law copies (Seven copies) in Kannada or English Version · Duly filled in Schedule-I & II ( Schedule III, if necessary) · Minutes of the Meeting of First General Body with signatures and address of the workers (Original / Certified Copy) · Attendance Register of the General Body Meeting in Original · Employment Certificate of at least 100 workers OR 10% of the work-force AND Identity Cards with Photograph issued by the Employer · Authentic identity Cards of Office Bearers / Executive · Committee Members such as EPIC, Driving Licence, etc., · Affidavit under Section.4 and Section.9-A of the Trade Union Act, 1926 · Bank Pass Book with Account Number of the Union (if available) · Union membership as well as fee details (Member-wise collection details) · Address Proof of Registered Office with valid documents like · Ownership Deed / Rent Agreement / Lease Deed 1.Declaration as per Section.6 of the Trade Unions Act, 1926. 2.Any other valid information sought by the Deputy Registrar / Registrar. 3.Details of affiliation to Central Trade Unions Whom to approach: · Assistant Labour Commissioner( Designated Officer) · Deputy Labour Commissioner of concerned Region (approach as an appeal (Competent Officer), if the service is not delivered in time or rejected by officer) Maximum number of days to wait to get the decision of the Competent Officer- 30 days · Commissioner of Labour (2nd appeal (Appellate Authority), if the decision of the Competent officer is not acceptable or not implemented) Maximum number of days to wait to get the decision of the Appellate Authority- 45 days Fees required: Rs.10 Time required: 60 days maximum Forms: Form A Additional information: Eligibility Criterion: Trade Unions
