Hi, A great job done by the ipaidbribe.com. I am writing a policy memo on "tacking corruption in India- where to begin and what to be done?" as part of my Master in public Administration course at LKY School of Public Policy, NUS, Singapore. After a lot of brooding over the issues and reading literature, I am proposing to begin at the top (where to begin) and suggesting a Universal anti corruption Commission similar to Hong Kong/Australia where the commission is independent can proceed aginst corruptions charges against highest PM suo motto. The package consists of raising salaries and allowances for MLAs, MPs and othe rpolitical executives commensurate with their tasks. Further I am proposing that the proposed commission will look in to all corrupt practices committed with effect from a future date say 1.1.2012. All commissions and omissions before 1.1.2012 will be dealt as per the current procedures. Kindly give your feed back and useful data/web links on corruption.
