I was asked to pay when I was leaving India to go back to US. Reason !!! They did not stamp my passport when I enter in the ciuntry !!! When asked who is responsible ? Answer was, I was supposed to check if they stamp or not !!! Grate work ethic. One more way to collect money from people.
