Demanded money to clear my file

Police came to my house for verification, but I was not at home at that time. When I went to respective station, the person in-charge asked to pay citing reason "Ab aapka beta videsh jaa raha hain", which was completely absurd. At that time, my father had around 250/- in his pockets which he gave him in order to pass my file to next stage.
