FATHER TO RELEASE FROM JAIL ON BAIL

My father was arrested by Kushalanagar Police station, kodagu dist and produced to court on the offence of illegally selling Brandy/whisky/wines bottles in our village.
NOTE: I really do not remember exact date but father arrested on friday, produced to court on Saturday, we got Bail on Monday, its almost 2 years back
Court gave him into judicial custody for a week, police keep him in Madikeri central jail. Me and my sister went to see him to Central jail Madikeri in visiting hours onlyon Sunday. But the Police who was in the Gate not allowed me, at the same time one more person came and gave Rs.100 to him and entered immediately. But I was decided not to give bribe as I am a Govt employee. Then I said " I am an Engineer, working in Bangalore BSNL " ( in fact I was not allowing any type of bribes in my office/area). Then he allowed me in, I met my father and came back. while speaking with my father the same first gate police conveyed to second gate police ' he not paid money ', I observed that. But I didn't care.
Next day(Monday) we went to court and got Bail in Somwarpet Court, immediatly I came to madikeri Central jail at almost 6:30pm. This time 1st gate police changed I told him I have Bail to release my father, he easily allows me. In 2nd gate young polices was sat and doing something I thought at least my age police will not ask Bribe. My faith was wrong, he asked Rs.200 to go inside to meet jailer/superindent of jail for formalities. I didn't pay and keep quiet, he waited me 10 minutes, then he understand i will not give money to him. He also allowed me in finally.
Then I met Mr. A A BOODIHAAL who is jailer / Superindent of jail, he done all formalities in 30 minutes. There was so many chairs he not told to sit also. finally he observed me with inshirt and shoes, and said give me Rs.500. I said I don't have money to give, then he saId ' i will not release your father come tomorrow time over' and he close the book. I really do not know the jail timings. My father was Diabetic patient, and he was arrested 3 days back. I really don't want go to home without him that too my home almost 40 km away from jail. Then I understood without money he won't release. I GAVE RS.200 to him. again he look at me said "innu tegi" in kannada (like AUR DEDO in hindi and GIVE MORE in english) then I gave additional RS.100. then he arranged for the release. Finally we out from jail at 8 pm.
My real concern was at least that young, my age police also making a habbit to ask Bribe without any hesitation.
