I had to pay bribe for my kids passport verification

I was been asked for bribe by passport verification police official after all the verification (documents, kid) . He bluntly asked how much money I will give to him for clearing this. I asked him that Why? as I have all the relevant docs that were asked but he said your file will not move unless you pay. Unwillingly, forcefully I had not choice but to give him Rs200/- as bribe for clearing the verification.
